Just to add, when all the pc's are accessing the internet, don't forget the
connection will only be a quarter of the internet speed for each pc if there
are 4.
I have a 150k connection speed here, and I have 3 pc's accessing the
internet, which slows the connection down enormously.(we all get a third
each)
However, when, as now, I am the only one in the house with my pc on, my
connection seems as fast as it should be, it seems as though I'm using the
whole connection, so I assume I am.
Because of this, I tell my kids to turn their pc's off when they're not
using them.
See if there's a difference if you turn 3 of the pc's off, and just use the
one, the connection speed should go right up.
I assume it all comes under the 'internet connection sharing' heading. (ICS)
I think I've got that right
