Tony, the one thing you don't say is how you have the burners set. I have two and I don't have a problem. I have both set to system select, not as master and slave.

  Subject: [PCBUILD] Burners keep "forgetting" burner setting


  I was curious if anyone has seen this problem before...
  The computer keeps "forgetting" that I have enabled burning on both of
  my DVD Burners.  I can go in to properties and tell it again to allow
  burning, but after some time it will forget again.  My computer stays on
  24/7 except for occasional maintenance.  Running XP-Pro, SP2 with all
  patches on an Pent 2.4 w/1 gig ram.
