Remove the cartridge and check to see that the bottom is clean.  If not, clean
gently with dry soft tissue, or dampen slightly with water.  Check the right
side under the cover of the printer where the cartridge 'parks' when not in
use.  Should be clean also.  If not, qtips sometimes will remove buildup.  The
clean utility often causes a buildup of dried ink in this area.   Reinstall
cartridge, run alignment and clean utilities.  Try printing again.
Some cartridges seep or leak a little between uses, the ink hardens and then
gets dragged across the paper..
