In general, the normal structure for a drive laid out this way is to
create an additional volume (normally "D:") inside the EXT DOS partition.

  2K/XP can, in some cases, tack partitions together under a single drive
letter, but this is "funky" and can't be done with the boot/system partition
(which C: probably is).

  So your best solution is a third-party utility such as Partition Magic
(now owned by Norton).  It will provide a straightforward GUI, through which
you can tell it to delete that second partition and extend the first to the
size of the whole drive.  (At 2GB, you shouldn't need to change from FAT to
FAT32 or NTFS, but if you did, PM would handle that for you too.)
