On old motherboards, usually 66mhz, they can only recognise 128mb
modules therefore the best option is to use 3x 128mb modules, yes you
can use 66mhz, 100mhz and 133mhz ram in a 66mhz bus system, the higher
speeds will drop down to run at the 66mhz rate.

Can I mix 66mhz and 100MHZ ram?

I need to add ram to my Aptiva E96 wish has 66mhz bus...Currently i have
224 megs and wish to max it to 384MB..

It has 3 total slots.

what is the best approach?
