Yes, it's possible.

Boot the Win2K CD and choose the C: partition as the destination of the
installation.  When asked whether to upgrade or replace what's there, choose
the replace option (whatever option is NOT an upgrade).   You should receive
a warning that existing data will be destroyed.

There is no reason to separately use FDISK or FORMAT prior to installing
Windows NT/2K/XP/2003.  Let the installation routines take care of that.

My hd is partitioned into a C and D drive. Right now I have win98 on the C
drive and Win2k pro on the D drive. Is it possible to format C and install
