  Unfortunately, there has been more than one version of the 233.
Some are spec'd to run at 3.0x66, and some at 2.5x75; I believe the
latter are more common.  Ideally, you should find this info printed
on the top of the chip, but you might not be able to get to that if
your fan is actually bonded to the CPU.

  Odds are pretty decent that most PR233s will actually work at
either setting.  If your motherboard doesn't offer a 75MHz setting,
you're pretty much stuck anyway.

  [In theory, 2.5x75 runs the CPU at 187MHz instead of 200.  But it
also runs system components -- RAM, drive controllers, etc -- about
15% faster than a 66MHz setting, and so overall system performance
is pretty comparable.]
