Have you had a look around your modem properties? I know that if you
received okay before, theoretically this *shouldn't* be a problem, but just
the same: how about in your control panel, under modem, properties,
connection tab, particularly under "call preferences." Also look under the
"port settings" and "advanced" buttons, and see if there is anything there
that may help.
