The advice given here is right on. It does sound like it may be a corrupt
driver and or the mouse is about to die. Another problem may be a glitch in
Windows 95 too.

Other things you may want to consider. How long have you had the mouse? Do
you clean the rollers inside on a regular basis when it acts in a herky
jerky way? Many factors contribute to the overall condition.
