Russ,

It bluescreens before it can run SFC. I guess it's time to reinistall.
Naturally my sister hasn't made a mirror image but at least she knew how to
back up her critical data. She'll have to wait till the weekend, tho. Thanks
for your help. BTW, could this be a failure of the AGP slot on the
motherboard?
