Hi,

I have a newer HP Pavillion and when I do something like peruse the Programs Folder in the start menu I can scratching/hissing sounds through the headphones. The sounds match spikes in CPU readout in Performance Monitor. They occur when the AC power supply is plugged in. They don't occur when using only the battery. Think it might be something more than replacing the power supply?

Russ
