I have the same problem with my Dell Inspiron, and I know I'm not 
accidentally stroking the touchpad as I type.  I like the touchpad, but 
the jumping around is driving me crazy.
Could it be a fault of the computer, or could it be the program?  It 
does it in both Word and my mail program.
