My wife has a 1998 dell 233 MHz with W98 and IE5. Using Radio Shack headphones she can talk, but can't hear through the headphones. I have been told that she needs powered headphones to be able to both talk and hear. Can someone verify that is correct or does she have a sound card problem? Her sound card is a Yamaha and our local computer technician says he loaded the latest driver for the card. Any help would be appreciated. I will purchase powered headphones if that is the problem. Thanks, Clarence
