-What O/S are you using?
Epson writes: We currently have no plans to develop a Windows 2000 printer
driver for this product. Please use the Microsoft driver included in Windows
2000 if available.

-Have you ran the printer tests thru help?...help/index: printer problems.
-Is the spool data format set to RAW?
-Is this a new problem or has your printer ever worked?

Here's a few links - they mainly suggest checking cables and CMOS settings
for LPT1, but there are other possibilities.
