Just on the off chance, have you recently disconnected/reconnected the
floppy drive?  This sounds somewhat like a reversed cable on the floppy
drive (pin 1 connection on the wrong side)

No error messages..just will not complete the post...does the memory
check(32 megs) detects the CPU (Cyrix 200mmx) and detects the
presence of HD stops at this point with cursor blinking at the
announcement of Version 1.0 Award Bios...if keyboard is disconnected
it notices this...if floppy is disconnected it notices that...seeks
the floppy but will not read...does NOT appear to seek the HD.
