Folks:

I posted a few days ago concerning problems
I was having with crashes on a Compaq P200MMX
Windows 95B machine with 80MB of RAM.

Seemed to crash for no apparent reason and
usually with DLL file endings of a type that
I had never seen before.

I want to thank the list and those who responded
with thoughts and ideas as I came to find out that
my RAM was faulty! After I removed two 32 MB MGV
DIMMs and returned the 16 MB Compaq stick that came
with the machine everything cleared and and the
machine runs fine now. My records indicate that
I installed the RAM that failed on January of this
year.

I am left with wondering if RAM failure is an
ongoing thing or was I very unlucky or is MGV
brand something to stay away from?

Michael
