You might look at Norton Utilities for bringing the partition back. try
this command (if you know somebody that has NU95 V2 or V3)
"NDD /REBUILD"
Then choose diagnose disk.
choose a drive and let it look for partitions.(no matter what drive you
choose it will say there are no dos partitions on the drive. don't be
concerned its just a standard message)choose the drive that you want to
look for partitions on. when it checks for partitions you should have a
partition show up that is the correct size for the drive. after it has
repaired that then reboot he machine. you might also look into DISK EDIT as
a data recovery tool. it is part of Norton utilities as well.
