The best way to have no problem with ACPI is to DISABLE them in the
BIOS setup! However, it seems that you should reinstall WinXP.
Note that there are conflicts between hardware and software when ACPI
is enabled. Furthermore, win2000/XP set several devices on the same
IRQ, which leads to unstable system work!
