I changed this laptop from win nt to win 98.It has bios version A05.It is a Dell Latitude CPx H450GT.It boots first from cd, then floppy which i do not even have, then from the hard drive.When i try to change it to boot from the hard drive first i need to get in the bios.Then i need the admin password to get the configure setup enabled to change the boot sequence.No one associated with this unit has the admin password or at least the one i think should be it does not work.I thought if i changed boot sequence it would speed up boor up as it is very slow!!Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated as i have benn doing this as a favor for a friend and i am almost at wits end.
