I'm looking for a motherboard that will accommodate my IDE devices [hard drive and DVD], VGA monitor, my Intel Core2Duo E8400 3.0 GHz @1333 FSB CPU, with 4GB of DDR2 1066MHz memory. My old machine died and I want to upgrade the CPU and memory but still use some of my IDE peripherals. I have found some Intel and Gigabyte boards that have built-in VGA but only one IDE interface. That may work if one could connect both the HD and DVD to one ribbon connector in a master/slave relationship. I don't know if that can be done. Does anyone know of a board that meets my needs at +/- $75?
