I'm sure you will get a lot of responses to help you out with this.  But
I want to look at it from another angle.  *Why* are you flashing your
bios?  It is not without it's risks, and if you're just doing it to have
the "latest and greatest," then I would recommend against it.  If,
however, you have a specific need to upgrade it (ie: newer video
compatibility or hard-drive compatibility), then go for it.
