Hi:

I was given a gutted transportable (lunch box) PC containing only the
built-in LCD screen, video card and keyboard. Unfortunately, it only
accepts AT form factor motherboards.

Can anyone recommend a baby AT motherboard for this transportable PC,
something in the range of a Super Socket 7 (AMD K6-3) to a P-III Socket 370
with plenty of PCI slots. The LCD is driven by a special PCI video card,
so an AGP slot would be wasted. 3 DIMM sockets, on-board I/O, sound and
10/100 NIC support would be nice, too.

This is a price/performance decision. I wish to use the transportable for
on-site testing and the occasional PowerPoint presentation; Windows 98 and
2000 compatibility is highly desirable, as is low-power consumption and
low-heat operation.

Thanks, in advance, for your recommendations.

Regards,

John Chin
