Please quote at least a little of who or what you did. Thanks.

Since you changed the DRIVE?, have you changed the drive data cable also?

What happens if the data cable is attached (or not) to the MB,
with (or without) a drive connected?

Also, is the drive empty when you do this, or is there a disk in there?

I did as you said. The computer shuts down, restarts, no error message appears. however at least It does not continually restart and 
then I can get into the cd drive and operate the cd driver, however when I change the cd it restarts the computer again. I am 
pulling my hair out over this. ARRGGHHH
