Good morning Andre

The short answer would be simply Yes!

The longer answer. There are a few different infections that can
indeed affect the Bios in different ways. If you go to any of
the anti virus research sites and input Bios you will come up
with a few entries including the older CIH, Mypics, AntiCMOS and
even the recent Magistr worm

try here:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/vinfodb.html
http://vil.nai.com/vil/advsearch.asp
http://www.antivirus.com/pc-cillin/vinfo/virusencyclo/default2.asp
?m=q&virus=bios&alt=bios
(this url Will wrap)

I do hope that helps

Christy White
