Hello:
   I recently purchased a used  Acer 6x Cd-Rom (655A)  for $30 and am
having trouble with it.  After runing CD programs fine for a while, I get a
read error (the CD works find on another drive) and this is repeatable.  In
Web searches, I have noticed several others with this problem.  Is there a
fix for this problem or was this a $30 lesson on what not to buy.
