I am unable to get the sound to work on my husbands computer.  I can hear static through the speakers on occasion but that is it.  There is no sound from the computer itself.  I have checked all connections, drivers, etc. and everything indicates it is working properly.  Could the problem be the sound board?  When I check the details of the sound board the notes tell me "This is working properly".  It worked fine until we moved it and it hasn't worked since.  Does anyone have any suggestions that I can try.
