I've not found "inexpensive" ones, but I get most of my miscellaneous
hardware like this from Computer Network Accessories:

They have a crimping tool at 12.95 and 100 RJ45 plugs for 11.95.

You have to watch when buying some of the plugs that are self crimping
(using Pliers only).  Some require that you use the special flat ribbon
wire and the twisted pair cable will not fit in the plug.  CNA has a good
variety of a lot of different hardware.
