A quick search on the internet revealed a myriad of responses for 'Error
code 1000008e, ....' from bad memory, to overheating to faulty drivers. The
statement, "When I try to power up it does nothing for approx 5 min" led me
to believe that it could be a faulty power supply but you state you have,
"1.25G ram." How is this configured? Did you add two 512Mb sticks of RAM to
an existing pair of 128Mb sticks? If so, try removing the the new RAM
modules and/or reseat them by swapping slots with the other two sticks.
