Hello,

I'm shopping for a 2 x 1 gig memory kit and have found one which
recommends that I add on $7.75 to the price for "aluminum heat
spreaders" to keep the memory cooler.

Are these heat spreaders necessary or recommended by you? I've never
heard of them before.

Thanks, Later, Ray
