What you need to do is to find a driver for your CD-ROM. I have found that a MS WIN98 boot disk has more general drivers than a 95 boot disk.
However, some CDROM drives are propritory, meaning they have to have a driver from the manufacturer. Which may be your case.

Since CDROM drives are reasonable in price, perhaps it's time to buy a new one which will come with a driver.

After formatting disk, with boot disk from this web site, I only get an A or C prompt. HD will not acknowledge D drive (CD-Rom), so that I can install Win 95 from CD. Please help.

Thanks, Susan Davis
