Hi,

A few moths ago I moved my computer into my newly renovated basement. No
further than 7 feet from the main breaker box where the power line enters
my house. Ever since the move my monitor displays a flicker / wave. It's
not too severe but it's noticeable, especially around the edges. Though
I've never tested to be sure I believe the electromagnetic from the power
line is to blame.

As I understand it there's not a thing in the world I an do about this
except move the monitor. Is it possible that this will shorten the life of
the monitor or is it nothing more than an irritation?

Thanks,

Bill Nussbaumer
