Dear Mansoor,
It has been my experience with WD that they will replace any of their HDs
that fail with very few questions, if the drive is not physically damaged
(case broken from a fall, etc.). They are very good on the phone. Just
call them and I think they will help you.
WD has some utilities on their web site for diagnosing their HDs. The
tech will probably ask you to download these utilities to test your
drive. There are also some repair utilities which they will tell you to
try. If all fails I'm almost certain they will replace your drive
