I have just added a new harddrive to my computer and it works fine BUT it has become the D and E drives (I partitioned it) and my CDRom is now the F drive.
The problem is when I try to run programs from Start - Programs - ? and they are programs that need info off their CD they won't run because the Path is incorrect. How do I correct this? The only articles I find in Microsoft KB tell me how to prevent this from happening by taking steps with a new computer. Well I've had this computer a year and a half so I have lots of CD programs loaded. Do I have to uninstall them ALL and reinstall them to get them pointing down the right path or is there an easier way to fix this? Any ideas and instructions are appreciated. Thanx!
Heather
