Try to measure the voltages from the 5 pin slots which supply power to
IDE devices. Black- GROUND and Red - 5V.
In the general case when you turn on power the power source cooler
begin to work. The simpliest crush in power source is burned
"preserving" devices (two for each ~115V wire) made of keramic or
glass with thin whire inside.
