Hi All,

Not sure whether my original request for help reach the group. However,
I have further updates on my problem and still hope someone have a
solution for me.

"I have got a funny problem in my new system.

Everything piece of hardware was working fine after I had setup my
system, including a TraxData 226 CDRW as 2nd IDE Master and a old Teac
CD-55E 4x as Slave. I was able to read CD from both drives.

To use the CDRW drive, I installed the PacketCD software that came with
the drive. Subsequently, the Teac CD55E drive was still working.
Howvever, whenever I put a CD into it, it reports f:\cd in Windows
Explorer and refuse to read the directory structure of the CD.

Anyone can help me with this problem? The solution should allow me to
use two CD drives and still able to write PacketCD.

My suspicions is that the drivers are giving me problem, I am going to
uninstall that to confirm it. I am also thinking of swapping the two
drives, so that the Teac becomes the Master."

I have confirm that it is the drivers that is giving me the problem. I
uninstall the PacketCD and I am able to access the TEAC drive again.
Thinking that is the solution, I have gone ahead and install the WinOnCD
CDR mastering software. As expected, I have been unable to access the
TEAC drive. However, after I uninstall the WinOnCD software, I cannot
get back to the orginal state and now I am unable to use me TEAC drive
at all.

Please help.

TIA.
