Dunno much about the ASUS line but I've seen good raps. Personally, I use Gigabyte - they seem to be a pretty stable mobo. The AMD 2500+ is the Barton core, right? Got one myself, nice performer.

As to sites, try Tom's Hardware or AnandTech.

  Subject: [PCBUILD] Motherboards

I need some recommendations on motherboards. It is time to build a new computer. I have pretty
much decided on an AMD Anthlon 2500+ cpu. I previously used ASUS and had good luck with it. What
mb's would you all recommend and which ones should I definetely stay away from? Do you know of any
  sites that compare mb's?
