Assuming you have no rights issues with your Primary Domain Controller,
you may have a disk caching issue where one of the systems is not keeping up
with the software (backup Exec). Just a guess since I don't know what kind
of tape drive or storage device you are using.

Try www.seagate.com/support/kb and type a search that describes your storage
equipment.

If this renders useless, you will need to check the knowledge base on the
controller card or drivers for your storage device to see how they handle
Sp6a.

Subject: [PCBUILD] BUGCHECK

Hi ,

I have a very strange problem with NT Server and Seagate Backup EXEC.
Here is the scenario.

We have two NT4 servers, PDC(sp6a) and BDC(sp6a) having static IP. .
TCP/IP is the Protocol.

PDC reboots from a 'BUGCHECK" , 0x0000000a(0xfc60666f6, 0x00000002,
0x0000000, 0xfc6066f6) Dump is saved in c:\winnt\memory.dmp. We noticed
that problem occurs when we try Backup or Restore. Seagate BackupExec
(7.0) runs on BDC. PDC reboots even while backing up from BDC.

When I looked up the Microsoft support site, it appears that this
problem should not occur with the current SP.

How to overcome this?

Regards,

Ram
