When my machine booted up a few days ago, it suddenly reported that it had
found a "new PCI communications device".  If I tell the wizard to ignore the
device, it adds an "Unknown Device" to my Device Manager.  If I tell it to
search for a driver, wherever I tell it to search, it can't find one.  If I
try to delete the device, the same thing happens next time I boot.  They're
supposed to come to put in my ADSL cards soon, and I'm afraid that this
non-existant device will cause problems, since Device Manager says that
Windows has assigned some memory space to it.  How do I get rid of it?
As far as I can see, my real PCI devices (sound card, video card) are working
fine.
