I have three computers running Windows 98 that I want to connect as a peer to peer network. I want each of them to have access to my cable internet connection so I plan to add a Linksys router (BEFSR41 EtherFast 4-Port router) to act as the binding element. I have network interface cards and Cat5 wiring with RJ-45 connectors for each computer which I will connect directly to the router. I will connect the internet cable modem directly to the router. Will this work or do I also need a hub or switch?
