It sounds like your keyboard needs some loving care and attention. Myn lap top is too old for me to spend on repairs so I have bought a USB wireless keyboard amd mouse. I don't have any problems now.
It meens I can use the keyboard on any new PC's or lap tops I might buy in the future.

Subject: [PCBUILD] touchpad

I have a Toshiba Satellite A13 and have difficulty with the curser
moving to different areas of document as I type. I jumps around and I
can't tell if I am accidentally "stroking" the touchpad with my thumb
as I type or what. Anybody have suggestions as to how to eliminate
this annoying problem. I am constantly having to cut and paste to make
a coherent document. Thanks as always for your expertise.
Laurel
