If you get the message " The EEPROM in your WinModem is corrupted." then the
eeprom in your WinModem is corrupted. But probably the modem keeps working.
Perhaps, the functions and code to reprogram the eeprom keep working. So go
to the URL of the manufacturer and look for the way of how to upgrade the
eeprom. If not, you would have to look for an identical modem and see how to
duplicate the eeprom externally.
The problem is the same as a corrupted bios, which is rare but can happen
(for example, turning off in the middle of an update). But on the mobo case,
surely the only way to go is an external duplication.

  Starting point: (-1)^(-1) = -1
  Applying logarithms: (-1)*ln(-1) = ln(-1)
  Since ln(-1) <> 0, dividing: -1 = 1 (ln(-1) is complex, but exists)
