If you go with HP and/or IBM for good business customer support, you
have to buy a business puter from them and not on of their retail
puters from places like Best Buys, etc.

If you can find a clone manufacturer who knows his/her stuff and uses
high quality, brand name components and gives good customer service, I
believe you would be better of. Of course that is not easy to find
amongst the clone builders. Somewhat like finding a needle in a hay
stack <G>. But if you do, I firmly believe you would be happier and get
a much better price.

for business, just buy a brand name computer with good customer
support. Since
it's for business, money is not the big issue here. HP and IBM used to
have good
customer support (specially for business clients). For your friend, I
think
Billing is important, so don't risk it.
