Good day Listers,

I am wondering if there is a practical limit to the amount of RAM Win98 can properly use. Previous posts have indicated that Windows has a tendency to use all the RAM available especially XP. Previous posts have also indicated that there is a limit yet there are those who insist on installing between 256 and 512Mb of RAM. I am curious, however, of the practicality of having more than 256Mb of RAM in a computer that is used for light multi-media work for now but with an eye towards being a PVR (ala TiVo) running Win98.

Thanks in advance.

Joseph Hallare
