About a year ago I aquired a Gateway computer (3,000Mhz, 1,024MB memory) preloaded with MS XP. Later, however, it appeared that some files were corrupted so I moved all files to an external disk and then installed Gateway's "System Recovery" disk, which supposedly contained Windows XP. This corrected all problems but created another - the 'Stand By' function disappeared. Is there a simple way to get it back?
