I have a Pent II  (266Mhz) running Win98se and most likely
have USB 1.1.

Description of Problem:

I have two entries under USB in Device Mgr.. I get a Root entry
and a PCI to something... When I plug anything in the USB port
the cursor (arrow) turns to an Hour Glass for about a second
but there is never a HotSwap Icon in the Sys tray and no new entry
under USB in device manager. When loading the driver for the
digital camera -- no error message. When I delete USB in Device
Mgr.and let Windows reload it, I get the message that the USB
Port cannot be read! I'm thinking maybe I need new drivers for the
USB Controller?? I'm just guessing. Can anyone help? thanks,
