EDO and even plain old RAM will work, but he'll have to settle for a slower
FSB, and a performance hit.  These boards have a lot of jumpers (and I do
mean a lot) that allow all sorts of configuration options.  It's covered in
the manual.  My FIC VA-503+ originally used the RAM from my old 486, and it
worked fine.  It worked better, though, when I got some PC-100 sticks. It is
not possible, however, to mix RAM types.
