power supply to the line the PC starts. This is random, lets say that every
10 connections or so. I can live with it but I wonder why this happens.
Could someone talk about it?

I believe that if the motherboard supports the feature,
and you are connected to or setup as a networked unit,
you can choose an option to 'wake on power' which
would start the PC when the board feels the juice.
