  My inclination would be to *at least* go for some kind of audio A/B
switch; if you can't find one, it should be pretty easy to make one out of a
handful of cheap parts you can almost certainly find at Radio Shack.

  (I'm taking an audio production class, and so my first inclination was to
suggest a 2-channel mixer -- but that would probably be overkill....)
