Now I sometimes can boot the computer and other times it won't boot. It
gives the message " using previous CMOS or press Del for Setup or F1 to
Resume. In the Bios there is:

Load Rom Default Values
Load Values from CMOS or Save Values to CMOS options

I did us the Save CMOS option - this is when it seem to act up.

You can also saves the configuration by pressing F10

By pressing F10 is the same as Saving the values to CMOS option?

I don't have any other memory to try in the computer and don't have the
name of the motherboard.

I'm fixing a 486 DX2 66Mhz Cyrix computer.  The battery is dead so I
replaced it and got the hard drive to boot. What I am getting now is 2
beeps from the Bios. The Bios is Phoenix ver 4.03 87-94. I believe 2 beeps
means the first 64K has a parity error.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction.  The memory check at boot up
doesn't give me any error.

Help?
