Hi,
I believe the problem you are running into is from your new computer being
"too fast" for those old programs. I have had that problem with some old
programs myself. It appears to be caused by the program they were originally
compiled with that used some routines that are sensitive to speed. If the
program is run on a system that is "too fast" for the routine, it gives a
runtime error 200 message. When you disable the cache on your system,
apparently you are slowing it down enough for the program to execute
properly. (That doesn't explain why it ran on a PII/333 though...) I don't
believe the cache or lack thereof is causing the problem, just the speed
difference between the two.

Just my .02 worth,
Peter Hogan
